Positioning and Planning
We rely on personal experience as well as extensive research to assess the environment in which our clients operate and to recommend development strategies to meet short and long-term funding goals.
Our range of services, dependent on client needs, includes:
- An organizational assessment to examine current operating models and competencies. We review existing programmatic, planning and fundraising materials and reports and interview key leaders, staff, and volunteers;
- An environmental scan to gain a comprehensive view of the funding and programmatic space in which the client works. We use research and our networks to identify best practices, new concepts, and emerging trends to help clients strategically position themselves with key partners, donors, thought leaders, and issue groups; and
- A strategic development plan aimed at increasing or diversifying the organization's resource base for greater sustainability and program impact. The plan may cover multiple years and be extremely comprehensive or targeted to a specific donor or opportunity.
